Max Aarons that he could feel that nerves among the Arsenal supporters when he played there with Norwich City at the weekend.
Nervy times
Arsenal won 1-0 against Norwich as they finally picked up their first victory of the season.
But Aarons admits that there was a tension around the Emirates Stadium that even he picked up on as he was playing.
He said: “You could tell Arsenal were under a bit of pressure. You could feel in the game that the fans were a bit tense and the players were a bit tense. You could feel it in the stadium.
Arsenal have just brought in Takehiro Tomiyasu, so may be hoping that they don’t need to spend another £30 million () on a right-back any time soon.
Tomiyasu did impress on debut against Norwich, but tougher tests are likely to come for the Japanese international as the campaign progresses.
