£30m goal machine addresses future amid reports Tottenham want to sign him
Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Raul Jimenez has addressed his future amid speculation linking him with Tottenham Hotspur.
The Mexico international has been nothing short of sensational for the Molineux club since his initial loan move – and eventual permanent switch – from Benfica.
In 87 appearances for Wolves, Jimenez has scored 39 goals and registered 18 assists, including 22 goals and 10 assists this season alone.
As a result, has claimed that both Tottenham and North London rivals Arsenal are interested in making a summer move for the 28-year-old, who joined Wolves for £30million last summer ().
Jimenez, speaking to fans during a session, played down the possibility of him leaving Wolves in the next transfer window and says he’s committed to Nuno Espirito Santo’s outfit.
“I have a contract until 2023,” said the 28-year-old, who is said to be on just over £41,000 per week, according to .
“It’s not that we have to qualify for the Champions League in order to stay. I’m good, happy with Wolves, doing important things – me as well as the whole team.
“We’ve been trying our best since the start of last season. We’ve qualified for the Europa League, now we’re fighting for a Champions League spot.
“And it’s the big motivation to keep growing as a player and getting into the Champions League is always a plus that satisfies you and keeps you thinking about big things.”

Jimenez is a sensational striker in the prime of his career and has proven his credentials at the highest level, so he would no doubt be a superb asset for Spurs.
Spurs are certainly in need of reinforcements up front, having been left without a recognised striker, and could be set to bolster their attacking ranks in the summer.
However, Wolves are going places and, from a financial perspective, aren’t exactly in any need to sell, so they are likely to reject any offers that come their way from Tottenham or anyone else.
And with Jimenez publicly stating that he’s happy at Molineux, the likelihood of anyone nabbing the marksman from Wolves any time soon has dropped even further.
