£30m Arsenal player could now leave on loan with first summer signing confirmed – Sky Sports journalist
Arsenal might be looking to add new players to the ranks this summer but there’s also the issue of moving players on as well.
The Gunners know that in order to strengthen the squad that some will have to go.
Players like Eddie Nketiah, Emile Smith Rowe and Reiss Nelson are all believed to be on the market for the right bid and it remains to be seen just how ruthless Edu and Mikel Arteta will be.
Of course, Arsenal will want good money for any departures and those deals will have to work for the club overall.
Naturally, some Arsenal players might seek a loan move away instead to protect their good contracts at The Emirates.
And according to Sky Sports journalist Dharmesh Sheth, that’s exactly what could happen with Aaron Ramsdale.

Aaron Ramsdale could leave Arsenal on loan after David Raya signing confirmed
Speaking on , Sheth gave the latest when it comes to the future of Ramsdale and it looks like at at the moment, a loan deal seems more likely.
“All options remain open regarding Aaron Ramsdale. His Arsenal contract still has two years to run with the option of a further year. However, he found his game time limited last season following the arrival of David Raya,” Sheth said.
“Arsenal don’t want to lose him but understand if he wants regular first team football. Any potential deal would have to work for all parties – and a loan cannot be ruled out.
“There has been tentative interest in Ramsdale but it’s likely his future will be discussed after the Euros. Arsenal have now triggered the option to make David Raya’s loan move from Brentford permanent.”
The Gunners paid around to land Ramsdale from Sheffield United back in 2021 but he has since lost his place to Raya as number one.
Arsenal are looking to strengthen in a number of areas over the summer and Raya’s signing was a forgone conclusion already.
However, they are also believed to be close to landing Riccardo Calafiori, while a new midfielder and a new striker have both been touted.
The Gunners, then, could well be in for another busy summer.
