The Covid-19 pandemic has halted proceedings in world sport and despite being 25 points clear it’s not completely out of the question that Liverpool might miss out on the title.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain
The Liverpool midfielder put in his best performance of the season during the 3-2 defeat against Atletico Madrid. As a result, he’ll be upset at not having the chance to build up some momentum.
Oxlade-Chamberlain has played 21 Premier League games this season but he hasn’t quite scaled the heights which he hit prior to his serious knee injury in 2018.
With the club’s now breaking for the foreseeable it remains to be seen when the ex-Arsenal man will get the chance to play again.

An England international he has played 78 times for Liverpool, scoring 12 goals and registering nine assists.
Adrian
Adrian’s error in the game against Atletico Madrid will live long in the memory of the goalkeeper.
Liverpool were in no danger of losing the game prior to his miskicked clearance which led to Atletico scoring a crucial away goal.
Adrian would have relished the chance to put things right in the Merseyside-derby. Sadly, he must now replay that mistake over in his head.
If football does resume again this season, Alisson could be fit and that could mean his last act in a Liverpool shirt contributed to such a poor result.
Curtis Jones
The youngster is tipped to make a permanent leap into the first-team next season.
Had Liverpool wrapped up the Premier League title in the next couple of weeks, however, the 19-year-old might have been handed a prolonged run in the team.
Of course, that could still happen. If play is resumed he might still get a chance but an element of momentum has now been lost.
Jones has enjoyed a magnificent breakthrough campaign, scoring twice for the first-team.
The academy prospect looks set for a bright future and has blasted 19 goals in all competitions for the under-23 outfit this season.
