Rangers haven’t been short of good news in recent days, and they’ve been handed another boost by the impending return of Kemar Roofe.
The striker has been missing since limping off in the first half against Royal Antwerp in Belgium on February 18.
Steven Gerrard’s men qualified for the last 16 in his absence, and the 28-year-old will provide another option on Thursday against Slavia Prague.
As quoted by , Gerrard said: “Kemar (Roofe) will train this morning, he’ll be back in the group and travel with us to the Czech Republic. He’s available.”

The news on Ryan Jack, however, was less positive.
Jack was taken off injured during last month’s 4-1 win over Dundee United, and his manager is taking a cautious approach with the second leg in mind.
He said: “If I wanted Jacko to be ready he would be but I decided to just hold back on him. He’ll be available for the second leg,
“I don’t think it’s right to push Ryan. Ryan has had a bit of a different injury this time and last time we probably pushed him a bit too quick.
“I’ve decided, rather than the medical team, to just hold fire on that. It was a difficult decision but I think the right one for the big picture.
“James (Tavernier) is going to be a little bit slower.”

As with Roofe, captain Tavernier sustained his injury in Rangers‘ 4-3 defeat of Royal Antwerp.
The Ibrox side are still unbeaten after 11 European matches this season, but will face stiff opposition in the form of a Slavia side that knocked out Brendan Rodgers’ Leicester City in the last round.
With no league action this weekend, the newly-crowned Scottish Premiership champions will play both legs against the Czech side before returning to domestic action at Celtic Park on March 21.
