£27m player showed Everton just how talented he really is last night – opinion

Juventus striker Moise Kean pu🐽t in a brilliant performance last night in a friendly against Barcelona.

The 22-year-old joined Everton back in 2019 for a fee of around ꦡ£27 milliꦺon from Juventus but re-joined the Italian club last summer on a two-year loan deal with an obligation to buy for £24 million ().

Kean did not enjoy the best spell on Merseyside and only managed two🍸 goals in 29 appearances in the Premier League. But 23 of them came as a substitute as he struggled to nail down a starting place.

He was also sent on loan to Paris Saint-Germain during the 2020-21 campaign and showed real promise in France as he scored 13 goals in 30 appearances in L𒊎igue 1.

And after securing a move back to the Old Lady that will become permanent within a year, he’s s🅰howing the talent that made Everton sign him back in 2019.

Kean scores two goals against Barcelona

The Italian striker is showing Everton just how talented he is at Juventus and scored ﷽twice against Barcelon♑a side last night. 

Kean grab🐼bed two well-finished goals as Juventus drew 2-2 with Xavi’s men and showed real promise during pre-season.

He struggled to nail down a starting place last season under Allegri, as he mainly appeared as a substitute after the s𓄧igning of Dusan Vlahovic from Fiorentina.

But during his loan spells away from the club, he has shown exactly why Everton signed him with pr🐻omising displays for Juventus and PSG.

When Kean initially signed for the Toffees he was just 19-years-old and clearly struggled to adapt to the Premier League. But his recent display against Barcelona shows the🧜re is a player in there.

Everton signed the youngster off the bꦦack of six goals i꧋n 13 appearances for Juve the season before and Kean will be eager to rediscover his goal-scoring touch at the Old Lady.
