26-year-old Arsenal player found to be a really good fit for Manchester City or Barcelona
An analytics company found that one Arsenal player would now be a good fit for the likes of Manchester City and Barcelona, with many of the clubs likely to show an interest if he had become available.
One of the biggest surprises of the last two years has been the form of Ben White, with the 26-year-old thriving in the right-back role since William Saliba made his debut for the Gunners.
White was a player who had a point to prove when he arrived at the Emirates. Arsenal spent big money to bring him to the club from Brighton. But the Englishman has completely surpassed expectations.
Ben White found to be well-suited to Manchester City
White recently signed a new contract at Arsenal, which proved to be a big boost for Mikel Arteta’s side. And it seems that his representatives were keen to outline to the Gunners how important he has become.

According to a report from , White’s representatives worked with Analytics FC to create a report to show his improvement at both right-back and centre-back.
And it turns out that the report shows that White would be well-suited to the playing style of Manchester City, Barcelona, Bayern Munich and AC Milan. The Athletic adds that many of the top sides across the continent would be interested if White became available.
However, White has now committed his future – and probably the best years of his career – to Arsenal.
Defender continues to raise his game
It is remarkable how well White has adapted to his current role. And he is now making an impact at both ends of the pitch, contributing three assists in his last five Premier League appearances.
Like Declan Rice, White appears to be one of those players who can raise his game to any challenge. And that is only going to help Arsenal in the years to come as they continue to progress as a side.
