£25m Arsenal player set to hold talks with Mikel Arteta over his future with two Premier League sides keen
Despite a fairly quiet start to the summer transfer window, Arsenal have ramped up their efforts to bolster Mikel Arteta’s squad in recent days.
Riccardo Calafiori could become Arsenal’s first signing of the summer as they currently stand as favouri♉tes to land the Italian defender.
The move would tick one box for Mikel Arteta as ✱the Spaniard is keen to bring in a new left-sided defender. But the Gunners boss will also be aware of the needs to offload a host of first-team players this summer, with many struggling for minutes last season.
Oleksandr Zi💎nchenko and Kieran Tierney ♐could head out the door while the futures of Aaron Ramsdale, Reiss Nelson and Emile Smith Rowe will also have to be determined.
And according to journalist Ben Jacobs, one Arsenal star will🥃 hold talks🦩 with Arteta over his future soon.

Emile Smith Rowe set for talks over Arsenal future
It’s no secret that 🃏Smith Rowe has struggled for minutes under Arteta over the past couple of seasons, which has seen his progress 🐬halted.
The Hale End Academy product enjoyed a brilliant breakthrough season during the 2012/22 campaign as he netted🔯 10 Premier Leagu𒅌e goals.
But injuries and added competition for a place in Arteta’s side have led to a lack of oppor🧸tunities in the starting XI.
With doubts surrounding ๊the Englishman’s future, 🐲Jacobs has told that Smith Rowe is set to hold talks with Arteta.
“Emile Smith Rowe is already working on his fitness ahead of the ne⛄w season and we know that he struggled to break into the first team last season, so the feeling is that he is going to be available, and at the moment, it’s a case of waiting for suitors,” the journalist said.
“Aston Villa haven’t rekindled their interest, despite holding a historical like for Smith Rowe, Fulham as well are across his situation. So there are likely to be Premier League suitors. At the moment, though, nothing has advanced, and he’s focused on getting his fitness back, and, no doubt, will hold talksꦺ with Michael Arteta regarding his future.”

Smith Rowe in demand
Desp🌞ite a difficult couple of years at Arsenal, Smith Rowe isn’t short of interest in the Premier League.
Fulham boss Marc♚o Silva has reportedly made the midfielder hꦡis top target while Crystal Palace have also been credited with an interest.
Arsenal have reportedly slapped a £25 million price tag on Smith Rowe’s head, which seems like a reasonable fee for a player wi𝔉th plenty to proꦺve.
While he may have struggled for minutes under Arteta recently, Smith Rowe ha🐎s already displayed his ability to perform in the Premier League.
