Although Ange Postecoglou did suggest otherwise, it seems Tottenham Hotspur could still conclude three deals on deadline day.
Spurs are said to be very happy with their progress this month, signing both Timo Werner and Radu Dragusin.
And although it seems as if Lucas Bergvall may be the only further arrival, a high potential 17-year-old who wouldn’t quite be first team ready, there could be two departures.
Alejo Veliz has been linked with a loan move to Sevilla, even if Postecoglou seems happy to keep him around.
And the final possibility, as of now, seems to be Bryan Gil heading to Brighton & Hove Albion on loan.
The winger, who signed for , has had chances under his new manager but hasn’t really made an impression.

Although Spurs are happy to loan Gil to Brighton, it seems the winger isn’t entirely convinced.
Dan Kilpatrick provided the news for , saying there’s no guarantee Gil would accept a move.
Kilpatrick said: “Tottenham are happy to let Bryan Gil join Brighton on a straight loan until the end of the season today and it was significant that youngster Jamie Donley came off the bench ahead of the Spaniard against Brentford last night, suggesting Gil may have fallen even further down the pecking order.
“But Gil will need some persuading to accept the Seagulls, who want to boost their options in wide areas amid a succession of injuries.
“Gil is happy at Spurs, enjoys working under Ange Postecoglou and playing in this group, so there is no guarantee he will be on the move before the deadline, however limited his opportunities in north London are likely to be.”
Therefore, it will be interesting to see if Postecoglou still has the services of Gil at Tottenham once deadline day concludes.
