Arsenal star William Saliba made his way into the record books by eclipsing what Santi Cazorla once did for the Gunners in the Premier League.

William Saliba breaks Santi Cazorla’s passing record for Arsenal vs Sheffield United
Arsenal were absolutely incredible against Sheffield United and all the credit will go to the attackers and midfielders for their perfor﷽mance at the top end of the pitch.
Martin Odegaard, Gabriel Martinelli, Declan Rice, Kai Havertz and Ben White all got on the score sheet and deserve a lot of praise for the way they played💦.
It was a truly dominant performance from the Gunners, but their attacks didn’t start at the front – it began all the way at the back with David Raya and the two defenders in front of him, William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes.
Saliba, in particular, was heavily involved on the ball, so much so that he broke a record set by Santi Cazorla for most passes completed in a single Premier League for Arsenal.
The 22-year-old Frenchman completed 169 passes, according to , which is a truly tremendous statistic. Only three players in the Premier League ꦗhave completed more since 2003.
As an icing on the cake, Saliba added another clean sheet to his tally as well – he now has 11 in the Premier Le♌a🃏gue.
Arsenal’s defence has been incredible this season
Sir Alex Ferguson once famously said: “Attack wins you games, defence wins you titles.” The good thing for Arsenal this season is that thꦇey are firing at both ends of the pitch.
All the talk has been about how many goals the Gunners have scored recently – 31 in their last seven league games.ꦕ That is incredible, but what’s even better is their defence.
Arsenal have con🌳ceded just three goals in their last seven games and only 23 all season. They have the best defence in the Pre🙈mier League, and their back three is to thank for it.
William Saliba, Gabriel Magalhaes and David Raya are all having tremendous campaigns – some say they’re more important than Bukayo Saka to this Arsenal side.
If the three of them can keep this going until the end of the campaign, Ar✃senal have every chance of lifting silverware.
