Rodrigo Bentancur was spotted celebrating after winning a sprint race against Matt Doherty in Tottenham Hotspur training yesterday.

A draw would see Antonio Conte’s men through to the knockout stages of the Champions League. But Igor Tudor’s men need a win to advance and will be well up for it tonight.
The Spurs squad were being put through their paces yesterday ahead of the game and Bentancur was spotted celebrating after beating Doherty in a sprint race.

, the Spurs squad were involved in some light training. The players were taking part in short sprint races, as well as passing exercises.
Bentancur and Doherty were up against each other at one point. The Uruguayan left the wing-back trailing behind over a short distance.
then raised his arms in the air in celebration, while Doherty wheeled off in the other direction.
Doherty isn’t exactly known for his pace, but neither is Bentancur, so you can understand why he was happy to get the better of the Irishman.

Bentancur dropped to the bench for the dramatic 3-2 win over Bournemouth on Saturday. But the 25-year-old was introduced just before the hour mark and went on to grab a late winner.
He’s likely to come back into the starting eleven tonight for what is a massive game for the club.
The former Juventus man has really stepped up his game this season and has started to provide goals from midfield. Bentancur has scored in each of Tottenham’s last two games against the Cherries and Sporting.
Conte will be hoping he can continue his scoring streak and help guide Spurs into the next round of the Champions League.
