‘£20m plus’: Some Arsenal fans react after hearing who Arteta’s reportedly willing to sell
A number of Arsenal fans have given their thoughts on the ESPN report claiming Hector Bellerin could leave the Emirates Stadium this summer.
The 25-year-old full-back has been a great servant for Arsenal over the past few years and is a respected figure in the Gunners dressing room.
To date, Bellerin has made 232 competitive senior appearances for Arsenal, claiming nine goals and 29 assists since coming through the ranks and becoming a senior player in 2014.

In addition, he was also out for most of 2019 after suffering a cruciate ligament injury, but has battled back to become a first-teamer at the Emirates once again.
However, speculation over the man’s future has never been too far away.
According to , Bellerin wanted to quit the Gunners at the end of last season when Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona emerged as serious options.
However, he stayed following heart-to-heart talks with Arteta, with whom he has a close relationship from their playing days at the club.
The also claims that, in discussions last year, the Arsenal boss asked Bellerin to give the club one more season and in return, they would consider an exit this summer.
It is believed that there are are no open conversations between the player and the club regarding his future.
However, there is a sense from both sides that, with two years left on his contract, this summer represents the right time to move on, added .
What have Arsenal fans made of the report? Below is some of the reaction:
selling bellerin & lacazette for a combined £50m this summer would be good business

Sell

Sell him he’s not good enough

Time to go his influence has seriously waned, No longer productive in crosses

Would be good for both parties. Love Hector as a person but not good enough as a player so if we can get £20m+ for him, let’s use to upgrade.
— Luke Matthews (@___Matthews___)
Will be a great move for all parties if he does move on this summer. He’s been faithful, could have gone back to Barcelona when he was broke into the first team for much less. Get a lump sum in for him and spend it directly on his replacement on a HG talent like Aarons/Lamptey.

Good move for both parties. Who we replace him with though is anyone’s guess. Hopefully we find someone of similar influence to Tierney
