£20m Arsenal player is ready to leave this summer and he could replace former Gunners captain
An Arsenal player is now reportedly keen to leave north London this summer in a deal that could see him replace a former Emirates Stadium captain.
The north London side are set for what could be one of their busiest windows in some years, with Mikel Arteta ready to offload a number of players in order to raise crucial funds as the Arsenal manager looks to strengthen his squad.
Albert Sambi Lokonga and Nuno Tavares have already left on loan, whilst Emile Smith Rowe continues to be linked with a move to Fulham, as Reiss Nelson inches closer to a switch to London rivals West Ham.
And another player could soon be on the move in a deal that would be interesting to Arsenal fans.

Eddie Nketiah open to Marseille switch to replace Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang
According to , Eddie Nketiah is open to joining Olympique Marseille this summer, with the striker viewed as a potential replacement for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who this week has officially headed to Saudi Arabia.
Valued at £20m, Nketiah has attracted a decent amount of interest this window, yet it is French giants Marseille who currently look like the early favourites to sign the England international this summer.
Indeed, Arsenal are eager to sell and Nketiah himself seems keen to move on from north London having spent the majority of last season as a bench-warmer for the Gunners, where the striker seemingly fell out of Arteta’s plans.
And with Nketiah keen on a move to the south of France, things could start picking up between Arsenal and Marseille over a potential transfer, with the two clubs having a good relationship based on past dealings with the likes of William Saliba, Matteo Gunedouzi and Tavares.

Nketiah is ready to become the main man away from Arsenal
Nketiah has shown he can be a proven goalscorer if given the chance to start as the main man, with Arsenal reaping the rewards in the 2022/23 season when the England international led the attack.
Yet it’s clear that Arsenal and Nketiah are ready for a change this summer, and Marseille could be a fantastic next move for the 25-year-old attacker under new manager Roberto De Zerbi.
If a deal be reached between Arsenal and Marseille, Nketiah could be heading to France before we know it, with the striker having the quality to become a real star in Ligue 1.
