2 high-profile managers have told their agents they want to speak to Rangers over vacancy – report
Glasgow Rangers are currently looking for a new manager after Steven Gerrard left Ibrox earlier this week.
The 41-year-old had been in charge of the Gers since June 2018, but has now linked up with English outfit Aston Villa.
Gerrard led Rangers to the Scottish Premiership title last season, ending Celtic’s nine-year reign as champions.

He leaves Ibrox with the Gers four points clear at the top of the table.
In addition, the Light Blues are in the Scottish League Cup semi-finals and with a shout of progressing to the Europa League knockouts.
Several managers have been linked with the Rangers reins, and according to one source, two are especially eager for the Ibrox job.
According to , both Giovanni van Bronckhorst and Gennaro Gattuso have told their respective representatives that they want the chance to speak to Rangers over the vacancy.
And Ross Wilson is believed to have both names on his shortlist, which suggests the chances of one of them taking the reins could be high.

Both Van Bronckhorst and Gattuso are former Rangers midfielders and were actually teammates for a few months at Ibrox in 1998, before Dick Advocaat sold the Italian.
They are high-profile, highly esteemed managers who have coached big teams in Europe.
Van Bronckhorst won the Eredivisie, two Dutch Cups and two Johan Cruyff Shields with Feyenoord.
He is ready to get back into management after a short spell in Chinese football came to an end last year.
And Gattuso managed the likes of AC Milan and Napoli, winning the Italian Cup with the latter.

He is also a free agent after his contract with Fiorentina was rescinded due to an alleged dispute between him and the Italian club’s board over players he was planning to bring in.
Other managers and coaches linked with the Rangers reins include Derek McInnes, Alex Neil, Duncan Ferguson and John Terry.
