Devine likely to leave Tottenham on loan

“I’ve seen quite a bit of Alfie, he does look like a man among boys sometimes.

“With Alfie, everything is on him. He was likely to head out on loan this season, and then he picked up a really frustrating hamstring injury.

“It stopped the chances of him heading out on loan, and you would presume now that it will happen in January.

“He needs it, he needs to do what Dane’s [Scarlett] done. He needs to go to a League One team.

“Get him playing week in, week out, every minute possible, and I think you’ll see a very rapid development.”

Devine has already written his name in Tottenham’s history books, as he’s currently their youngest ever scorer.
