£17m striker who supported Arsenal as a kid wins fourth monthly award in a row

Arsenal are currently fairly well-stocked in attack, but there’s always scope to bring in exciting new talents during the transfer window.

One player who Arsenal have been urged to sign – and who rooted for the Gunners as a🎐 youngster – is m🍎aking a name for himself as one of the top attacking talents in the world.

Bayer Leverkusen’s Victor Boniface has taken the Bundesliga by storm this season, registering eight goals and five assists f💖rom just 13 league outings.

The 22-year-old, who joine🐭d for a £17million in summer, has also been prolific in the Europa League and DFB-Pokal, with a further six goals in these two comp꧙etitions.

A 🏅month ago, former Nigeria international John Ogu took to – as reported by – to tell Arsenal “don’t sle🍎ep on” Boniface, saying he’s “our solution”.

Also on , Ben Mattinson said♔ the Nigerian is a striker “Arsenal (or any other top club) should be looking at next summer”.

The player himself also told earlier tဣhis year that he supported Arsenal (and Barcelona) as a youngster,♍ as well as telling that his first ever football shirt was a Gunners one.

Arsenal should start making enquiries about Victor Boniface

Now, as reported by Fabrizio Romano on , Boniface has just won the Bundesliga Rookie of the Month award for the🎃 fourth month i﷽n a row.

As per , Leverkusen manage🔴r X💧abi Alonso has described Boniface as “complete”.

The website also mentioned comparisons with Erling Haaland and Victor Osimhen, and suggested Leverkusen “may 𝄹have snapped up thꦓe world’s next €100million striker”.

Needless to say, Boniface looks like a superstar in the making. And considering he seems to have had a soft spot for Arsenal in his 🥃formative years, the Gunners should certainly start making enquiries.
