£15m West Ham player is determined to change fan opinion and has ‘no intention’ of leaving in January

After a tough result for David Moyes’ West Ham United on the weekend, his side will now look to recover in the two coming home games.

As well facing their usual problems lacking a striker up top, West Ham looked uncharacteristically poor at the back against Fulham.

And whilst that should just be a brief blip, their goal-scoring woes up top certainly hasn’t been.

Whilst the likes of Jarrod Bowen has been contributing admirably, none of West Ham’s strikers have been scoring regularly.

And with Michail Antonio currently injured, Danny Ings is now determined to prove his quality and case for a start.

have now sharted a report detailing the lengths Ings has been going to in order to improve his form, a player who is now sometimes overlooked for 19-year-old Divin Mubama.

But given David Moyes was so keen to bring Ings to West Ham, the striker is adamant to return that faith.

And according to , Ings is endlessly frustrated that fans have not seen the best of him at the club just yet.

Moreover, he’s determined to make things work and has no interest in leaving in January.

Understandably, West Ham are often linked with strikers when a transfer window is on the horizon.

Many expected the club to act in the summer, however a striker didn’t arrive as part of their impressive recruitment.

And whilst the likes of Mohammed Kudus are contributing really well, West Ham look desperate for a goal-scoring striker even when Antonio is fit.

It does almost beg belief that West Ham have gone so long, and achieved so much of late, without a striker with an elite goal scoring instinct.

Although not linked to the player, perhaps a profile similar to Dominic Solanke would serve the club very well.

A move for Ivan Toney could prove too ambitious, both in terms of his aspirations and the cost involved.

However, this is the level of player that David Moyes should be looking to bring to West Ham – a club with so much potential.
