£15m Tottenham player now admits he is not happy under Ange Postecoglou

Ange Postecoglou has done a terrific job ever since arriving at Tottenham back in June.

The Australian has not only transformed Spurs tactically by implementing a slick style of attacking football, but he has also proven himself to be a fine man manager.

Players such as Dejan Kulusevski and James Maddison have already spoken very highly of the 58-year-old.

However, there is one player at Tottenham who has now revealed he’s not enjoying himself under Ange Postecoglou

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg is not happy under Ange Postecoglou

Well, it was Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg who informed the media that he is far from happy with how things are going at Spurs.

The Denmark international Tipsbladet: “Of course, I am not satisfied with what is going on at the club. It’s not a secret, but it’s not something I make a fuss about either. I can put my head on the pillow knowing that I’m giving it my all to show the coach he has to believe in me. This is not the case at the moment, and it is the coach who must explain why.”

Hojbjerg has only made starts this season as Postecoglou prefers the likes of Pape Matar Sarr and Yves Bissouma in the middle of the park.

Tottenham likely to sell the Dane

In our view, Tottenham are highly likely to sell Hojbjerg this summer.

Postecoglou clearly doesn’t view the Dane as a starter, and his contract situation means time is of the essence.

Hojbjerg’s current terms expire in July 2025 – meaning this summer represents Tottenham’s last chance to recoup a decent fee for the man signed in a deal from Southampton back in August 2020.

A story from claims that Juventus are very keen to sign the Tottenham No.5 this summer – and a bid of £17m could be enough to strike a deal.

Be sure to keep an eye on Hojbjerg’s situation this summer, as the 28-year-old seems very likely to leave N17.
