£15m Tottenham player could leave right at the end of the month

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg continues to be linked wih a move away from Tottenham.

The Danish midfielder is far from being first-choice at Spurs right now, and it’s been widely reported that he could leave this month.

Speaking on , Charlie Gordon has been discussing Hojbjerg’s situation, and he says that this may be one that gets moving towards the end of the transfer window.

Indeed, Gordon says that while a number of teams do like Hojbjerg, he’s not top of many transfer shortlists, claiming that’s why we’ve not seen anything concrete happen on this front just yet.

Hojbjerg could leave late in Jnauary

Gordon shared what he knows about the man.

“Hojbjerg is not playing regularly and I really rate him as a player, there’s real interest in him. He’s on a lot of transfer shortlists, but he’s not top of wishlists, which is why we’ve not seen anything concrete happen there, it may be late in January that we see something happen in that regard,” Gordon said.

One to watch

This is certainly a situation to keep an eye on as we head into the final weeks of the transfer window.

A move for Hojbjerg at Tottenham could unlock the cash needed for Spurs to do more transfer business, and with links to Conor Gallagher refusing to go away, perhaps that move could be reignited if Hojbjerg does go.

Hojbjerg is a talented player who could be a star at another club, but currently, there isn’t much room for him in Ange Postecoglou’s side and it may be best for all involved if the midfielder makes some sort of move this month.

Watch this space as it sounds as though Hojbjerg could well be on the move towards the end of the transfer window.

Where Hojbjerg could end up remains to be seen, but there will certainly be plenty of stories around his future in the coming weeks.
