£13m Tottenham player is now on his way to Spain to complete deadline day move
Tottenham forward Alejo Veliz is now on his way to Spain to complete a move to Sevilla, according to information from Dan Kilpatrick.
Veliz has been the subject of late interest in the window and with Spurs now having a settled team led by Richarlison in attack, Ange Postecoglou is open to Veliz moving out to get experience.
The youngster is highly rated at Spurs so there’ll be no hope of a permanent deal just yet for the Spanish side.
However, Sevilla are set to sign him on loan with the player now on his way to Spain to complete what will be a straight loan deal.
Sharing the news on has confirmed the deal is going ahead and Veliz is effectively in the air on his way to Europe to complete proceedings.
A good move for everyone
Alejo Veliz was signed for with good intentions and he will eventually be someone Tottenham turn to in their squad.
Right now, though, he isn’t quite ready and a loan move to Spain is just ideal, especially to a club like Sevilla, who are one of the top teams outside the main duo of Madrid and Barca.
Veliz will relish the chance to play regularly and this is a smart move all around for everyone.
With a bit of luck, he plays regularly, scores some goals and then comes back to Tottenham a more well-rounded player.
