£13m striker could have his head turned by Tottenham interest

Hwang Hee-Chan has been one of the better players in the Premier League this season.

The Wolves striker has been on fire this season. He’s already scored 10 league goals so far this term, and, as you can imagine, he’s being linked with a move to a bigger club.

There has been some chat as of late about the attacker moving to Tottenham, and speaking on , Ben Jacobs has been discussing the idea of Hwang heading to north London.

Jacobs says that he can’t see the South Korean leaving Wolves halfway through the season, but, at the same time, he noted that Tottenham do have a huge amount of pull and the attacker could have his head turned by the idea of moving to Spurs.

Hwang could have his head turned

Jacobs shared his verdict on the striker.

“I think that Hwang is on fire at the moment, I don’t see a mid-season move but you never know because Spurs have got pull. These players when they’re on form might have their head turned, but both are going to be difficult to pull off in January, and Hwang will be in big demand come the summer, if you’re sensible as Hwang, and this is what I’m told he’s going to do, there’ll be an assessment to work out what he’s going to get,” Jacobs said.

Exciting

This would be a very exciting signing if Spurs could pull this one off.

Tottenham need more goals in their frontline. They can look rather blunt when Heung-Min Son isn’t firing, and while Richarlison has hit form as of late, you don’t need us to tell you how inconsistent the Brazilian is.

Hwang can play all across the front three and he would add a new dynamic to this Tottenham team.

This may well be a situation to keep an eye on as January progresses.
