£120m striker’s agents have visited Arsenal’s training ground and held talks with Edu
Arsenal journalist Charles Watts has now been discussing a training ground meeting Edu Gaspar held with a striker’s agent in the past.
It’s clear that Mikel Arteta and his staff are going to be very busy once again this summer attempting to improve their squad.

Early moves for Declan Rice and Kai Havertz last summer have proved to be huge success, incidentally two of Arsenal’s penalty takers on Tuesday.
And given how well that planning transpired, it would be a surprise if Edu and Arteta then decided to change lanes.
Therefore, fans must expect that the club are already working diligently behind the scenes, perhaps deciding on a new striker to bring to north London.
And to that end, Watts has now been providing an update on that situation on .
Watts spoke mostly about Arsenal’s interest in Victor Osimhen and mentioned a tale of when the striker’s agent met with Edu at the club’s training ground in the past.
The journalist admitted a deal would be hard to conclude this summer but said the interest still remains.
Edu Gaspar previously met with Victor Osimhen’s agent at Arsenal’s training ground
Sharing his update, Watts did also claim that there was still some interest in Ivan Toney
He explained: “It will be interesting to see whether they move for Victor Osimhen.

“He, like Toney, is a player they like and I know that his representatives have visited Arsenal’s training ground for talks with Edu.
“Those talks took place in the summer when Arsenal eventually signed Gabriel Jesus.
“Jesus was always the priority that year, but Osimhen was definitely a player they viewed as a serious alternative.
“That interest will remain, but the Nigerian could prove to be too costly an option in a summer given Arsenal want to spread their budget around as they look to take the squad to the next level.”
With that in mind, it’s certainly intriguing to imagine which areas of the squad Arteta would now target.
Personally I think a defender, a midfielder, a winger and a centre-forward would benefit the playing squad.
It might be a bit extreme to make so many changes to a squad that’s doing so well, but a fair few players could also leave.
And given this news of Edu meeting with Osimhen’s agent at Arsenal in the past, that certainly wouldn’t be a bad place to start.
Osimhen does have that ‘elite’ aura, a similar presence to the likes of Rice on Europe’s biggest stage.
And it certainly would be enjoyable to watch the £120m-striker play in the middle of Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka.
