£10m man wants to sign for Newcastle, once tipped to become as good as Roberto Carlos
Newcastle United on-loan left-back Jetro Willems has admitting that he wants to sign for the St James’ Park outfit on a permanent basis, as per his personal Twitter .
The Magpies brought the 26-year-old on loan to St James’ Park from Eintracht Frankfurt in the summer, the reporting that the deal includes an option to buy.
Willems has made 19 Premier League appearances this season, plus one in the League Cup, but has been out of action since suffering a cruciate ligament injury in January.

Speaking to Frankfurt’s official earlier this week, Willems – who is currently back in his native Netherlands with his family after football was suspended due to the global health crisis – said he estimates to be back in action by August if everything goes to plan.
On Saturday, Willems responded to a fan pleading with him to be turning out in the black and white stripes beyond the end of the season, to which he replied: “Everyone wants or hopes that I come back or sign a permanently deal at NUFC but I think its more a question for the club if they want me back.”
When another fan asked what he personally wanted, he responded: “To sign and play for NUFC“.

Willems has become a fan favourite at Newcastle and his admission of wanting to sign permanently for the Magpies went down a treat on social media.
A player tipped by Guus Hiddink in 2017 to “become just as good as Roberto Carlos” (), he would no doubt become even more of a hit on Tyneside.
Given the prospective takeover, he wouldn’t be an unrealistic permanent signing by any means – according to , Frankfurt want £10million for him.
