£10m Liverpool player now set to leave Anfield in the next 24 hours

Liverpool defender Nat Phillips will be leaving the club to join Blackburn Rovers in the next day or two.

🍒Phillips is well down the pecking order at Anfield and spent the first part of the season with Celtic. However, he returned to Liverpool and has since been out of favour.

♈However, it now looks like Phillips is going to get his chance at first-team football this season with a move to Blackburn on the cards.

💎The likes of youngster Jarrell Quansah are even ahead of him, while Liverpool are also thought to be on the lookout for yet another central defender in the next window or two.

✅Phillips played an important part under Jurgen Klopp a few seasons ago when Liverpool were suffering a huge defensive crisis.

♒In the summer of 2022, Phillips was linked with moves to both Bournemouth and Fulham but neither switch materialised.

🤪However, since then, he’s not had his chance again, while his time with Celtic didn’t go brilliantly either.

🌳Phillips, then, will see a move to the Championship as a chance to really get going again.

Fresh start

𝐆Nat Phillips hasn’t really done anything wrong while at Liverpool it’s just a case now that the standard is so high and he’s probably not at the level.

🙈A move to Blackburn is a smart one. They’re a club on the up in the Championship and have every chance of sneaking into the playoffs.

♛Phillips can go there safe in the knowledge he will probably play and that is what’s so important for him right now.
