Glasgow Rangers defender Connor Goldson delivered arguably his best game this season on Thursday night.
The 28-year-old Rangers centre-back has struggled at times this season.
In addition, there is currently some uncertainty regarding Goldson’s Rangers future.

The Ibrox man is out of contract in the summer and free to talk to other clubs from next month.
Despite contract negotiations with Rangers, the £3.5million man remains linked with clubs south of the border.
However, Goldson was much improved as Rangers played out a 1-1 draw with Lyon in the Europa League.
Van Bronckhorst handed him the armband on his 54th European appearance.
And he repaid his new manager with a solid display, keeping Moussa Dembele quiet.
Goldson did have one nervy moment when he gifted possession to Karl Toro Ekambi, but was solid thereafter.
Indeed, he now looks more assured under Van Bronckhorst.

Goldson’s stats from the game () make for good reading.
The Rangers ace got 103 touches of the ball and made 89 passes with an accuracy of over 85 percent.
Goldson also made six clearances, two tackles and one interception.
And he also weighed in with 20 long balls, of which nine were accurate.
Hopefully Goldson has turned a corner on the pitch.
If he continues this way and goes on to sign a new contract, it’ll be great news for everyone at Ibrox.
