‘100%’: Callum Wilson makes confident claim about Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah this season
Newcastle United forward Callum Wilson has made a claim about Mohamed Salah’s chances of winning the Golden Boot for Liverp🧸ool this season.
Wilson with Michail Antonio on the Footballer’s Football Podcast about the ღEgyptian star.
Few forwards have made a bigger impact on the Premier League than Mohamed Salah.
After a difficult spell at Chelsea early on his career, he’s discovered his best 🌳form at Anfield, scoring nearly 🎉200 goals since arriving in 2017.
In that time, he’s helped Liverpool win the Pܫremier League and Champions League as well as several cups.
On an indivi🌃dual basis, he also has three Premier League Golden Boots to his name, the same number as Harry Kane and Alan Shearer and more than the likes of Michael Owen and Didier Drogba.
However, last season a new threat arrived in the league in the form of Erling Haaland at Manchester City.

His 36 goals in 3🌞5 appearances set a new benchmark for strikers to aspire to, with no player even during the 42-game Premier Leaꦓgue seasons reaching that number.
Callum Wilson has now shared whether he thinks Salah can re♐gain that title at Liverpool this season.
It won’t be easy, but the 31-year-old is capable of churning out goals even when he’s not at his best as❀ he showed against Everton on Saturday.
Wilson makes Golden Boot claim about Liverpool star Salah
Wilson was asked if Mohamed Sa♕lah is the biggest threat to Erling Haaland’s chances of winning the Golden Boot : “100% I would say, [Mohamed] Salah’s always up there in termsꦉ of goals scored throughout the season.
“If you watch him play, he takes so many shots per game, they create a lot of chances and he’s a very self-min🍌ded striker you could say, so he’s always letting off shots from all angles which is why he’s scored some spectacular goals throughout his career.
“You have to put him up there, you can’t reall💯y look past him🥂.”
Wilson is backing Salah to challenge Haaland and the🐈 Liverpool striker is only two goals behind him in the scoring charts right now.

His performances have gone slightly under the radar this season which may not be a💟 bad thing f꧅or the Reds if other players are making headlines.
The likes of Dominik Szoboszlai have arrived and already look like world-beaters at Liverpool which will encourage Jurgen Klopp.
If Liverpool are going to challenge at the ꦗtop of the Premi💮er League this season, then they need Salah to be challenging Haaland for the Golden Boot.
With rumours circling around his future, it might be the best send-off he c🦂ould give the club if he helps them win one more title.
